1) 25 GB Bungalow Bonacaud, Trivandrum
One of the most haunted places in Kerala in night. And a tourist destination for adventure seekers in day time. Once owned by a British landlord and his wife, the bungalow sits on top a hill and has a 360° view of the surrounding estate and tea plantation. Its said that children of that landlord who died under mysterious circumstances owing to a disease are haunting the now abandoned bungalow. People claimed to hear voices speaking British accent English in or around from the bungalow and lights glowing despite no electricity connection in the bungalow. Other paranormal activities reported are a shadowy figure of child roaming around the building and sounds of glass breaking.

Writer’s Building at the BBD Square in Kolkata proves that no matter how famous a building is known to be haunted. In 8th December 1930, when three young freedom fighters, Benoy Basu, Badal Gupta, and Dinesh Gupta, entered the Writer’s Building and killed the brutal Inspector General, Colonel N.S. Simpson. The people who work there are familiar with the ghost of Colonel N.S. Simpson, who they say lingers in the main building as well as the BBD Square.
4) Khooni Nadi, The Scary Bloody river in Rohini, Delhi
The scary bloody river flows in the area of Rohini, Delhi. What makes Khooni Nadi so scary lies in the fact that this stream is not as deep when compared to most other rivers in the country. Yet the river accounts for a large number of deaths each year. At the junction where Munak canal enters the city of Delhi, branching off from the mighty Yamuna and flowing through Rohini, begins the boundaries of Khooni Nadi. They claim that a demon or mysterious force that lives inside the river, sucks anyone who trespasses the area.
5) Sindhrot, Vadodara, Gujarat
Sindhrot is a tiny hamlet near Vadodara. The dam near Sindhrot is a famous evening spot for the youth because of the peace and amazing breeze. This place is however, believed to be haunted. There have been sightings of a girl wearing a traditional Indian salwar-kameez-dupatta with a half-built face. She is heard asking people to go back, and not enter the village with girls.
6) Signature Farm, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
The place has many broken sculptures and statues, which appear to have been sliced in half, including a statue of Buddha. It is believed to be a very haunted place, more so because of lack of any human presence or housing or mobile signal in the vicinity. This farm is a very scary place to visit, even during the day-time. After sunset, people have heard sounds of horses galloping in their direction. The locals say that the place was the center of a mass massacre long back, and those massacred villagers are now believed to roam the area at night.
7) D’Souza Chawl, Mahim, Mumbai
A Chawl is a building up to 4-5 floors. D'Souza Chawl in Mumbai, Mahim (near Canossa primary school) has a well inside its compound. It is said that a woman fell into the water and died crying for help in the well. Probably that is why most people say that they’ve witnessed a woman lurking around the well and the nearby area.
8) Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Mumbai
In Borivali, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a large protected area in northern Mumbai. After sunset it transforms into one of the most haunted places People claim that they have seen a weird man walking with them and disappearing after some time in air.
9) The Mansion, Residency Road, Pune
The Mansion is an old bungalow located on Residency Road. Reports say that the house is haunted, while its exterior gives passers-by an eerie feeling. Some witnesses claim that they have seen a figure of a woman sitting on the roof of the mansion looking at their direction. But when they looked back, the figure disappeared into thin air. Paranormal expert claim to have felt strong negative energy inside the house.
10) Upvan Lake, Thane
The Upvan lake is one of the biggest lakes in Thane surrounded by Yeoor Hills. It is considered as the Thane’s lover’s paradise. According to a locals, long ago a person who was deeply in love with a girl committed suicide after jumping into this lake. It is said that, his spirit is still waiting for his love and so couples are warned to stay away from this place as the spirit might possess their love.
11) Three King’s Chapel, Muder, Cansaulim, Goa
The Three Kings Church is located in Goa. As per a tale there were three kings, who were fighting to get this property and even killed each other in this battle. Locals and visitors claim that this church is possessed by the spirits of these three kings.
They believe that their soul roam around the premises.
12) Seminary Arch, Near Zuari River, Goa
Located on the banks of Zuari River, Rachol is a village where there is an arch that leads to the seminary. This arch is said to be haunted. As per local folklore, there is a spirit of a soldier dating back to the Portuguese era, under the arch, who keeps watch on people and denies entry to those who he considers not worthy of a pass.
13) Mukesh Mills, Mumbai
These mills were constructed by Muljibhai Madhavani, in the 1870s. He was the owner of East African Hardware limited. The land was later remodeled in the year 1975, though they had to close the business within a few years. In 1982, a devastating fire covered these mills to shut down forever. Once the watchman of the Mukesh mills closed the gates of the mills, and as he stepped out of the property, he heard some music coming from the inside premise of the mills. No one even shooting that day. He stated that he saw someone smoking there. However, his fear didn’t let him go inside and therefore couldn’t confirm the whole situation. Next day he went inside and checked, but found no one present there. Another Mukesh mills story involves children. In a shooting a ten-year-old girl on the set started moving oddly, she began rolling on the ground with her hands turned backward; as if she’s being possessed. Everyone present there got scared along with the kids. They started crying and screaming in terror. The father of the possessed child asserted that as soon as they drove away from the mills, his daughter came back to normal.
14) Victoria Hospital, Bangalore
This century old hospital located near City Market has been a witness to strange happenings. Ghost sightings have been reported on the premises of this hospital. People have reported incidents in which they’ve claimed to see a white ghostly figure on one of the trees in the hospital compound. But more than wanting to scare people, this ghost seems to be the fun kinds. It is said that packets of food have gone missing. An ever hungry ghost is lurking around here, so keep your food safe if you ever decide to make a trip here.
15) Vaz Villa, St. Marks road, Bangalore
E J Vaz owned the house, and after his death, his two daughters -Vera Vaz and Dolce Vaz lived in the villa. According to the folklore, Dolce Vaz was stabbed and was buried in the house itself, following which her sister shifted to another place. The villa soon saw its ruin; people have heard the sound of crying and ghostly faces.

Karikattu Kuppam, a fishing hamlet was left severely damaged following the tsunami that hit its shore on an ill-fated December morning in 2004.Once a bustling hamlet now echoes eerily when the moon comes up.
17. Sathyamangalam Wildlife Sanctuary(NH209), Tamilnadu
Sathyamangalam Wildlife Sanctuary Corridor is considered one of the most haunted roads in Tamil Nadu. It used to be the home of legendary Indian bandit Veerappan. People have heard screams here and have even seen floating lights. It’s believed that the bandit himself haunts this road!
